The Sunday Star-Times is looking to speak to a patient who has recently had some experience of the health system - either receiving treatment in a hospital or clinic or at an ED - and would be willing to talk about their experience, and how it could have been made better, either by shorter wait times, better communication or level of care. Calling all those in Wheelchairs
Hi, I'm Simon .... a 44 yr old wheelchair user who wants to meet others in a similar position as myself (particularly a woman). I've been a sole parent now for almost 18 years and my son has just left the nest, so I thought it was time to start on the next stage of my life. I have cerebral palsy that effects just my legs (kinda the reason I can't walk) sooooooo if any of you are interested in getting to know me, flick me a message. I enjoy spending time with my son when he comes to visit and my pets (1 cat and 2 birds), I also enjoy building computers as well as a bit of gaming/watching TV too.
