So have you pimped up your postbox? If so, we'd love to see a picture and hear the story behind it for a feature on Homed... Did you create it from scratch or repurpose a household item? What was the inspiration for your design? And how have people reacted to it?
You can email your letterbox photos to homed@stuff.co.nz and someone will be in touch - and thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I have a reliable intermediate age girl who is looking for jobs to do over the summer for some cash.
She is happy to do moderate household cleaning, garden, mow lawns, walk pets, clean windows, etc.
Just leave a reply or flick me a message.
Cheers

Christmas is supposed to be the jolliest time of year - full of whimsical family reunions, selfless gift-giving and Masterchef-worthy feasts.
But sometimes this just isn't captured on camera. We're after those amazingly awkward Christmas moments that have been captured on film.
Maybe it was the time you went to visit Santa and your little one didn't want a bar of it. Maybe it was a self-timed family shot that went horribly awry. Or a Christmas meal that was more a festive fail.
Whatever the not-so-merry moment, we want to see it! Share your pictures and a little bit about them with us in Stuff Nation. We look forward to seeing them! Here's the link to contribute.

Taking a bag of empty containers when she goes shopping has become second nature for Kat Willcocks. The Nelson woman uses her own containers to buy groceries from Bin Inn and for takeaways from her local Indian restaurant. It's the next step from reusable coffee cups, and the practice is being encouraged in a "Bring Your Own Container" campaign from the Nelson Environment Centre. Read more
