Mapua Boat Club Regatta, Sunday 21st February 2021
Weather is looking good, so come on down to the Mapua Wharf and join in the fun either as a spectator or competitor. This year there will be recreational and professional races for paddleboarders, kayakers and small sailing boats. Registration commences from 9am and races commence 10.30am with race briefing at 10am.
We have some wonderful sponsors onboard and they have donated great prizes for the races, bbq and spot prizes throughout the day.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
