Reporter The Nelson Mail

On February 5 a ban on fireworks was put into place in the Nelson-Tasman region, until the fire danger drops from its current high level. Has the ban stopped people from letting off fireworks in the region?

The program will add a parasitic Wasp to each nest and allow the nest to remain untouched until the end of this summer. This parasitic Wasp is already in several areas in NZ and we are wanting to give it a boost. Nests must be outside an area to be controlled with VESPEX or other toxins and will need to remain completely functional so the added Parasite gets established. Easy access would be handy for monitoring progress.

What's your view on wet wipes?

Carly Gooch Reporter from The Nelson Mail

Kiwis may be more aware of reducing waste, but wet wipes are growing in popularity and being disposed of down the toilet instead of in the bin. Fresh Choice Nelson has erected a sign to remind 'wipes clog pipes'.Do you use them? If so, how do you dispose of them?
