Work Fit - Job Hunting Course
Hey everyone, if you're hunting for a job, we have a free course for you that starts soon!
Maybe you left school recently and are struggling to identify the skills you have to offer. Or perhaps you're coming back to the big scary job market after parental leave. You might be changing career after several years working a hard physical job.
Whatever it is, you’ll practise everything you need to get a good job.
* Identify the skills you have to offer employees
* Make a CV you understand
* Be more confident in interviews
* Get a support crew behind you
* Use computers to find and apply for jobs
* Gain Unit Standards so you stand out (optional)
* Work on your learner driver licence theory (optional)
It’s a free 10 week course running 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from 10am to 2pm.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
