Who should provide Doggy-Do Bags?

Nelson dog owners who forget their bags could find themselves in a sticky situation, as the city council considers ditching free doggy-do bag dispensers.
But, while the dispensers could be a thing of the past, dog owners could still end up with free bags, with the council considering issuing owners a “quota” when registration fees are paid. What's your view - should owners BYO bags, or should the council keep dispensers?

Friday night at the Observatory

Nelson Astronomical Society is about to start it's winter public observing season. Most clear Friday nights until daylight savings we will open the Cawthron Observatory at Cliffton terrace School and for a small donation you can enjoy views through several different telescopes including our wonderful Celestron C-14 scope.
