Special voting for local body elections 2025

Communications from Hastings District Council

If your voting papers haven’t arrived, you may need to complete a special vote. Our team is here to help make sure your vote is counted. Come and see us at any of the following locations to cast a special vote:
 
Hastings District Council Customer Service Centre - During normal business hours up until 12 noon on Sat 11 Oct
Havelock North Library - Fri 26 Sept, 1pm-4pm
Flaxmere Library - Sat 27 Sept, 10am-2pm
Flaxmere Library - Wed 1 Oct, 9am-1pm
Waimārama/Maraetōtara Memorial Hall - Fri 3 Oct, 9am-1pm
Havelock North Library - Sat 4 Oct, 10am-2pm
Hastings Memorial Library - Sun 5 Oct, 1pm-4pm
Te Taiwhenua O Heretaunga - Mon 6 Oct, 10am-2pm
Puketapu School - Tue 7 Oct, 9am-1pm

You can either pick up your special voting pack in person or have it posted to you (available until Friday 26 September). Please note: your completed voting papers and statutory declaration must be received by the Electoral Officer in the supplied envelopes before voting closes at 12 noon, Saturday 11 October.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
