Art Deco and Knitting

Denise from Marewa

Unsurprisingly, the Winter Art Deco festival in July has been cancelled.

Even if you don't have to isolate yourself, there may come a stage when you WANT to. Christine at Wool N Things in Onekawa is offering a delivery service for knitting items and the other items she sells.

If you've never knitted, crocheted or cross-stitched, there are oodles of videos on how to do these crafts on YouTube. Of course, now that it's getting colder, we need to take more care of ourselves and a scarf or beanie is an essential.

Green potatoes

Elva from Taradale

Why do the supermarkets and others sell green potatoes. They are toxic and should be covered with a sack or something dark so the light doesn't get to them.
