Thank you to all those folk who supported our first ever Garage Sale & Sausage sizzle yesterday. There were plenty of bargains for everyone and the sausage sizzlers were kept busy. We will be back next year with a bigger and better event. Watch this space!

Volunteers Wanted
Due to retirement of 3 of our long serving volunteers. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to share the co-ordinator role, preparation of meals, to keep the much loved Tait Drive Social Club going. In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
