Winter Art Deco festival
There still is a Winter festival this year. One of the free events is:
Strut Your Stuff (Saturday, 18 July)
At 2pm in Market Street outside Two Lippy Ladies. Don’t be shy, show off your best Deco attire. Prizes for Ladies, Men’s, couples, children, Men’s facial hair and being Winter it wouldn’t be complete without a section for furs. Enter on the day. An alternative venue will be advised on the day if wet.
If you don't want to enter the competition, come in to watch. The Encore Dancers will be giving a display too.

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
