Thanks to our wonderful neighbour Don Lancaster, I'm unsure how I/we would have coped. I had major ankle surgery in July, and I'm also the solo caregiver for my very elderly, almost blind Mother. Came home from hospital non weight bearing for 6 weeks, and with NO help from the DHB. Don, made and put down ramps over the steps for me, so that I could get across to the freezer, plus a ramp at our front door. He takes me shopping whenever I need to, fed our hens, puts out our rubbish and recycling.Plus, much, much more! He pops over at least twice a day. My Mother and I will be forever thankful to our wonderful neighbour, who sure does go the extra mile!

Hi I am just seeing if anyone in the Hawke’s Bay Area would have a lord Nelson apple tree?. I am just wondering if so if I could have a few branches so I can graft a few trees. These are very rear and I would like to add a few to my small family orchard. I’m happy to pay for a few branches. Or if you know someone in the north island at all as well that could help?. Thanks many Robert
We hope at this time of year you are getting close to having a break and a well deserved holiday.
