Census time again.......but did you know that there are changes to how it’s done?

Carol Winters from Age Concern Havelock North

Yep, there’s change afoot to how we will complete the census obligations this year. For most of us going digital is going to be a simple exercise but for a huge chunk of our older community it’s not.
Come along to our Friday morning meeting, the 9th of Feb, to find out what you need to know.

St Luke’s Hall - the rear of the church at 9.45 for a cuppa and presentation which starts at 10.

All welcome. Cheers Carol.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
