What's up with the staff at Napier's Unity Credit Union ?
I was there a few days ago to conduct a transaction. Of the 4 staff members circulating none were wearing face masks. Obviously contemptuous of the health and well being of the senior citizens of which about 90 per cent of deaths due to Covid 19 are those over the age of 65. Perhaps a Unity strategy to encourage on line banking staying at home rather than personal interaction. I have no knowledge if the Hasting's branch has embraced a no face mask policy.

Due to retirement of 3 of our long serving volunteers. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to share the co-ordinator role, preparation of meals, to keep the much loved Tait Drive Social Club going. Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
