Hello I need casual help

Jay from Bayview - Eskdale

Hi Im a braider,
Im looking for an individual who has some experiencing doing braids or plaiting. You can be retired or work from home. I am only able to do small and medium sized braids with an assistants help, as the hours are too long on my own for my body to handle. So you are very much appreciated. As long as you have good hands, some speed in plaiting, ability to learn new techniques..then you are almost there..
I would just have you in to do a few tests and see where you are and if you would be able to help me. You will be paid an hourly stipend for your time. Its an easy going small job for 3-5 hours..we laugh, listen to music and go to work braiding. You will only be starting off from where I clip off the braid..everything will be taught to you if you are the right fit.

Thanks :)

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
