Love Ironing?
Know anyone who LOVES ironing? Volunteers needed to do "at-home" ironing. We are busy at the Curtain Bank sewing new curtains for winter. And need help with new volunteers to press side seams and hems. Each piece size is approx 210cm x 210cm. We're hoping to find people who love ironing (maybe in front of the TV at home?) The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
