A little bit about me...
Kia ora. I'm Maria from NEV Dunedin North. We live besides the steepest residential street in the world.. this often requires us to redirect tourists from our street to the actual steepest street, we are not so enthusiastic about campervans coming up our dead end street and then trying to do a uturn though as its heart stopping at times. We have hens and are part of a share waste initiative (www.sharewaste.org.nz...) this is great for our hens and helps make great compost. We have great neighbours all around us and a community garden around the corner. This is definitely an It's allright here" community!

Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
