Rabbit control to get underway at Taieri River Floodbank
Otago Regional Council contractors will be undertaking night shoots to control rabbit populations in the East, West, and Lower Taieri areas.
The operation will commence on January 18 between the hours of 11pm to 3am with the last night set for January 25. Shooting will not take place within 400m of residential housing.
The Otago Regional Council encourages residents with any queries or concerns to email customerservices@orc.govt.nz or call 0800 474 082.
