Look at how pleased Brandy is with herself, after she donated blood to save little kitten Cognac, after he was dumped and nearly eaten to death by fleas.

It is rare for vets to perform a xenotransfusion, but the kitten was knocking on death's door, so as a last resort, used Brandy's blood to revive the feline.

This is just one of the many tales Franklin Cat Rescue's Melanie Marshall has to tell - after all, she lives with 77 cats!
