A bit of Kiwi ingenuity has meant one Buckland man can hit the hay without sweltering in his sheets this summer.
Michael Moore has built an air conditioner out of a polystyrene box, computer fan, downpipe and power pack.
He places frozen water bottles into the box and the fan pushes the cool air out of the downpipe, cooling him down in no time.
