Win tickets to Million Dollar Quartet
Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire! Jason Donovan is on his way to New Zealand in the cast of the award-winning, international hit musical Million Dollar Quartet.
Million Dollar Quartet is inspired by the incredible true events of December 4, 1956, when the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, Sam Phillips, brought together four music giants – Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley – for one of the greatest impromptu recording sessions of all time.
Franklin County News has a double pass to give-away to one lucky neighbour, to see the show at Auckland’s The Civic from 9 to 18 June.
To be into win, email julie.kaio@fairfaxmedia.co.nz, with 'quartet' in the subject line. Don't forget your daytime phone number. Competition closes June 2 at 5pm. Good luck!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
