I am considering making old style wooden gates as a day filler. They can be made almost any size but they are expensive. If you are interested in getting wooden farm gates made for your farm or farmlet let me know and I will p.m. you. The gate shown is 3.7 metres long and 1.25 high. Making this gate uses up about 32 metres of 100 x 25 RS treated timber, 18 galvanized bolts and some nails. More bolts are needed to attach hinge straps and gate catch.
