Whether or not you were one of over 50,000 people who have walked the Henley Lake – Lansdowne trails in the last six weeks, please donate some time on either or both of the above days to help make Masterton healthier and more beautiful!
This programme of planting along parts of the Lansdowne trails north of Hansell’s, includes the restoration of areas around the two lakes on the east side of Opaki Stream and starts the restoration of the two wetlands on the west side of Opaki Stream. These are steps that will also lead to improved water quality in Masterton’s iconic Henley Lake.

A few months ago, a lot of people on Neighbourly were concerned about road safety in the Clareville area. NZTA has just opened its SH2 Masterton to Carterton review for feedback, so please let them know any areas of concern! You can either attend one of their feedback sessions or just use their tool online to submit comments. It's quite an interactive way of giving feedback, so give it a go!
