Golden Queen Peaches
If you are looking at bottling peaches this season, Wharemuku Orchard have bulk quantities ready from later this week. These will be ripening over the next 3 weeks. Orders over 5kg can be picked up from the Orchard or for bigger orders we could organise delivery to you. Small quantities can be brought from our stall at the Wairarapa Farmers market on Saturdays.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
