Wairarapa Fabric Fair 2020 is Still On!

Just 5 days to for our annual Fabric Fair being held at South End School, High Street South, Carterton. From 10 am to 2 pm. Mr Sharp the scissor sharpener is coming from Bulls to sharpen scissors, check out his website for prices. Unfortunately due to Covid 19, the Lions will not be running the Cafe! Look forward to seeing you on Sunday. If you have a last minute donation for our charity table, give us a call!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
