Under contract law, parking companies can only claim for "the actual and reasonable costs they incurred". Charging $65 for a short overstay in an empty carpark is as far from reasonable as you can get.

We’ve decided to replace rather than try and repair ...sooo...
If you can make use of fridge/freezer that is making strange noises but still appears to be working, or if you want to try and repair it to make it better... it’s yours free of charge.
