A little bit about me...
Hi my name is Cheryl. I live on the beautiful Kapiti Coast. I am a widow and have a wonderful fur baby called Maddie as my constant companion..I recently became a grandmother for the first time and loving seeing my gorgeous grandchild grow each day.
I enjoy movies and video games ( quite different from others my age I expect).
My joy is daily walks on the beach with my dog, enjoying the seascape in all it's glory and spending as much time with my grandchild as possible. Each day is a blessing to wake, and know I am still alive and kicking.
Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
