Our residents have enjoyed Xmas dinner with their families at the rest home and hospital - this is their first for the year before the main one on Xmas day - either at their families homes or with us on the special day. It will also be the last in the separate facilities as next year we will be able to combine everybody in the new facility.
Rest Home residents and family were able to finish the day inspecting the new build and were noticeably impressed by spacious rooms including four lounges along with wireless internet and heated entrance ramp.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
