Ride Leader Workshop update - wanted keen Cycling leaders
Are you keen to inspire your community and get more people biking? If you are a person who loves riding their bike and wants to share biking with others, we want to help you become a Ride Leader.
There are two new workshop times Friday 12 May or Saturday 13 May.
You may be a parent, teacher, or passionate biker, and in this workshop, you will learn how to lead a great ride through the principles of Adventure, Wellbeing and Enjoyment. Post training, you will be provided with an ongoing network of support and mentor to help get your community biking together

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
