Wait for it..... surprise!

Relationship Wellbeing Specialist

Were you surprised?
Probably not, but how nice would it be if you were surprised by your partner with something you love, especially after a long day?
A positive and thoughtful surprise is a great way to connect. How good would you feel if you surprised your partner with one of their favorite things? How good would they feel?
Both of you would likely feel pretty great, so here are some ideas to try:
Cook your partner's favorite meal for them
Bring them breakfast in bed and enjoy the morning together
Write them a love letter by hand and mail it
Send them a random, loving text in the middle of the day
Throwback: make them a mixtape or CD of their favorite songs (a playlist works, too!)
These are just a few small things you could do any day of the week, and you don't even have to spend money. As the saying goes, the best things in life are free.

Speed limits around NaeNae

Susan from Naenae

Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
