Produce Bags - made from 100% re-purposed fabric

Annie from Silverstream

If you’re like me and turn up at the supermarket with your re-usable grocery bags but still find yourself needing to use those plastic produce bags. Well, finally I got around to solving this problem for myself and I’ve made extras, so you can solve that problem for yourself too!

All made from 100% repurposed textiles supplied by Bespoke Curtains Upper Hutt. Fabrics may vary accordingly. You can specify a preferred colour combination once you've added them to your cart.

$40 for 6 bags – 2 large 42x35 cm, 2 medium 31x30 cm, 2 small 23x20 cm

$5/pack sold goes to Fuel the Need. A charity in Upper Hutt providing school lunches.

See you at the hokomaha (supermarket)!

Oh, and don’t forget to weigh all your produce naked, every bag you use adds cents to your grocery bill, including those flimsy plastic ones. Weigh nude, then pack those bad boys. See our blog page for more information on this.

Speed limits around NaeNae

Susan from Naenae

Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
