FENZ at Healthy in the Hutt
Housing New Zealand, Hutt City Council and the Eastern Hutt Rotary Club are bringing back Healthy in the Hutt to the Walter Nash Centre from 11am - 2pm on 29 July.
As an organisation dedicated to supporting their communities, Fire and Emergency NZ will have people onsite during this great community event. The small team on the display stand inside the venue will be providing fire safety information to help keep neighbours and residents safe from fire in their homes. Keep an eye open outside the venue too, the crews from Avalon Fire Station will be attending at various times during the day, providing a close up, hands on, look at their appliance.
Feel free come along and have a chat to the Fire Fighters dedicated to looking after the Hutt communities.
If fire isn’t your biggest concern, more than 15 other agencies and services will have stands full of information from free health checks, earthquake strengthening, and home health checks.
See you there!

Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
