School of Self-Defence kicking off 7 July
Hi everyone,
We're finally able to kick off the community self-defence school now we're out of lockdown. We'll kick off informally on Tues 7 July during the school holidays here in Pinehaven.
Ages 12 and up, all stages and levels of fitness, confidence, experience welcome! The club focuses on self-defence using a Wing Chun base (Chinese boxing) and incorporating elements of Kickboxing and Filipino short sticks. A warm, challenging, but encouraging environment where the aim is not to teach people how to fight but rather teach people how not to need to fight. Speed limits around NaeNae
Hi Neighbors, Just a heads up, I have just received a $170 fine for driving at 50km on Rata Street Naenae on a SUNDAY Morning. I wrote to NZTA pointing out and sending in a photo of sign stating that it was 30km on school days between those hours, but they said that the whole of Rata Street and some surrounding streets are 30km 24/7 and have been for over a year. Did I miss this been advised by council? Always good to be informed. Merry Christmas to all
