Unplanned discharge of Main Outfall Pipeline in Eastbourne
Unplanned discharge of Main Outfall Pipeline in Eastbourne update: All necessary repairs have now been made.
The main outfall pipeline was placed back into service, and discharge to the Waiwhetu Stream stopped early Saturday morning (June 15). A visual inspection was conducted on the pipeline later on Saturday morning, and no visible leaks were detected.
