Have an opinion on how your city should look, feel and operate in the years ahead? It's time to let us know what you think.
Initial engagement on the review of Lower Hutt's district plan - the city's rule book for land use and development - is underway.
It covers major issues like housing supply and affordability, how we'll manage natural hazards and sea level rise, and protect natural habitats, right down to what you can do on your property and what your neighbours can do on theirs.
For more information and to have your say, go to the link below. Or if you're in the neigbourhood, come and talk to us this Saturday 24 April. We'll be with the 10 Year Plan team at the Naenae Village Market between 11am and 1pm.
Noted on my calendar that Monday is ANZAC public holiday. Are there any rules, for instance Shops open, booze sold etc.
My Three of four Kaiwarra, great uncles died WW1, grandfather of Petone, mustard gassed WW1, father died ANZAC 1994 and husband died ANZAC 2008.
ANZAC day is 25 April. NOT a holiday.
I'm trying to save our very old (some might say vintage) oven. Need to find a replacement 250v/15amp ceramic/porcelain fuse and carrier - see photos. Grateful for any suggestions on where to find one, or if anyone has one am happy to pay a reasonable price, or swap for a box of beers/bottle of wine. Thanks!
