Steve is a 10-year-old gentleman looking for his forever home. Due to unforeseen circumstances, his long-term guardian can no longer keep him and he is looking for a new place to call home.
He is timid at first but once he feels comfortable, he is super friendly and just wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. He is curious, loving, and affectionate and would be the perfect companion for someone willing to give him the love and attention (and belly rubs) he adores.
He loves to roam free and would need a garden/outdoor space in a quiet residential area to explore. Ideally no other pets or young children in the household.
As his temporary fosterers, we have everything you need to get set up – food bowls, scratching post, toys, 2x flea treatments, litter & litter tray, and other accessories. He has just had his vaccines, flea and worming treatment and a clean bill of health from the vet. He’s ready whenever you are!
Steve is free to a good home but it’s really important Steve goes to the right home. This is not a first come, first serve basis. We’ll wait until Steve finds ‘the one’ he wants to live with.

If you are interested in knowing more or coming to meet Steve, please call Bex on 022 646 0200. Visits welcome – Normandale, Lower Hutt.

Serious interest only please. We want to make Steve’s transition as smooth and stress free as possible. Thanks!

I also know the journalist and the newbie policeman of the day.
What stories we remembered.
