Housing intensification - deadline to have your say
Time is running out to put in your views on Hutt City Council's proposals to change rules in residential zones that would allow 3-storey apartment units and townhouses in medium density developments, and on single sections in nine parts of the city around transport and shopping hubs (including Epuni, Avalon and Waterloo). Other changes will allow greater scope for 'granny flats' and tiny houses. Only if you have your say in this first stage of consultation (deadline March 9) do you get a chance to comment on submissions from others later in the Plan Change process.
