Upper Hutt loses monopoly game
The Wellington version of the monopoly game is on the market with its 22 themed squares and though Lower Hutt, Porirua and Kapiti are included, Upper Hutt misses out apart from what could be termed as being shared with Lower Hutt in respect of the Hutt River though the scene is from the lower aspects of the river.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
