We can blame show-man, no-man Donald Trump and inadequate recycling stations (or lack of) for our misery, but we can't blame either as yet for the weather..
There is no argument that since mid-winter and up to now in Wellington-Hutt Valley we have had a continuous spring or to put it another way, we are having a lovely winter for the last nine months.
This year I did get a touch of summer in Ohope which suited its name - we live in hope.
Methinks that we might get a nice March-April but who needs 'summer' then as the temperatures are unlikely to reach much past 18c..
The Guns and Roses concert and the Sevens event on the Sunday both at Westpac Stadium summed up our summer: piss poor!
