Alexandrine parrot has flown away

Anne-Marie from Stokes Valley

Please neighbours,  can you have a look for a large parakeet; green with a black and red band around his neck and a tail of about 30 cm.  He got out Friday around 11am when I had a delivery made and although his wings were clipped, in this wind and after his moult he will have some lift.  he escaped from August Street so could be in Amundsen Grove or Thomson Grove, but also further in the valley or have been blown to Taita..  Hopefully he's holding on to a tree somewhere.  If you see him, or hear an unfamiliar bird screech/sound, (he gets very vocal between 5 and 7pm, and around 9am) please call me on 9717571 or 027 9515770 or o21 585 112.   He is hand-tame but weary of strangers.  Thank you,  Anne-Marie
