I'm a handsome, goofy, gentle giant who is loving and eager to please. I've been learning to walk nicely on a lead while at SPCA and am very responsive to treats and human affection. While I enjoy a walk, I'm also happy just to have a cuddle, and Netflix and chill.
I've made a few canine girlfriends at the centre, and mix best with larger girls who are happy to play and don't mind some barking. I am not suitable for a home with cats or small animals at this stage. I would be happy to live with teenage kids."

Don't take the foot off the pedal just yet in NZ in the war against Covid 19.
Omicron is less severe than other variants including Delta but IT IS NOT MILD and its spread is far greater than any other variant thus far.
In the USA, Omicron death toll has surpassed the highest 7-days average of the more severe Delta variant, reaching so far over 2500 deaths in a single day.
From Russia to Brazil record Covid case numbers are being produced as the Omicron variant continues to spread world-wide just as it is in New Zealand.
On January 28 - just a week ago - Australia had nearly 100 deaths in their deadliest ever Covid day so far. That is almost twice as many as those who have died in over two years of Covid in NZ.
Of course the virus targets the unvaccinated and not fully vaccinated so kids under 5 are highly vulnerable and while Cuba has vaccinated 2-4 year olds, the USA and China among other countries are gearing up to make this happen.

A young refugee will train among New Zealand’s best up-and-coming footballers just months after fleeing war-torn Afghanistan.
Fahima Yousofi’s tutors from the English Teaching College in Lower Hutt put in a call to the Wellington Phoenix after she revealed her talent at a school picnic. From February, Yousofi will begin training with the club’s academy team.
Yousofi, who played football in Afghanistan to a high level, is pleased she will be playing football again. She arrived in New Zealand in September – around the time the air force was making mercy flights to and from the Afghan capital – with her family. Members of her extended family had already settled in New Zealand.
