Parking at Michael Fowler Centre

Rosalie from Wainuiomata

I know the concert is a long way off, but is anyone going to the 10 Tenors at the Michael Centre on the 21st May 7.30pm I have booked my ticket but am worried about parking, I am disabled so walking a great distance say if I got the train in, it is just too far for me to walk and I am worried about taking the car as I think the park that used to be opposite the Centre is closed, and the Centre park is only tiny, do they have a taxi stand at the station? I am not sure how to negotiate the station, I can remember it being a long station even to walk, can anyone give me any ideas PLEASE I know it is early as I said but I do not want to leave it for the last second

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
