It links with the SH20 cycleway, which enjoyed a 16% increase in cyclists last year, and the Mt Roskill Safe routes cycleway.
If we can provide safe cycleways for students to cycle to school, we can potentially cut morning peak traffic on the roads by up to 10%. It's a concern that while most baby boomers walked or cycled to school, only 3% of secondary students cycle to school today.
Cycling lowers congestion, reduces carbon emissions and provides healthy exercise for students when rising obesity rates among our kids is a growing worry.

Mental health issues, addictions, domestic abuse, family breakdowns, and death of loves ones can leave people - especially young people - homeless and without support or hope. I would love your support to raise funds for Lifewise. Every dollar donated goes towards providing support and housing to young people doing it tough.
