Our Korean War veterans
Yesterday I had the honour of speaking at the final New Zealand Korea Veterans Association parade. It was a beautiful event, held in the Hall of Memories at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
Time is the enemy of us all, and sadly many of our vets have passed away in recent years. As one who spoke yesterday put it, they have "marched into the pages of New Zealand's military history".
Thank you to all of our veterans. Your sacrifices and bravery will not be forgotten.
