This is 252 Steampunks in one place, breaking the Guinness World Record for "Most Steampunks" at Thames on Historic Kopu Bridge!

(plus stewards/volunteers who are not in costume)

Steampunk The Thames say "Well it looks like we did it! Unofficial tally at 252. (Confirmation by Guinness may take a while as we have to collate and present all our evidence for sign off)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
