Happy new year from the editor :)
Kia ora,
And a happy new year to you all.
The team at Franklin County News do hope you had a great Christmas and holiday break spent relaxing with friends and family.
I certainly did - and enjoyed some wonderful time with the South Island whanau in sunny Christchurch.
It was just what the doctor ordered - time out to recharge the batteries and prepare for another year ahead.
Already, things are getting busy with so much going on - it’s shaping up to be an exciting 2018 and the Franklin County News is looking forward to bringing you the news from our fabulous communities.
Remember to keep in touch to keep us in the loop - I’m only a phone call or an email away - and I’d love to hear from you.
Phone me on 09 237 0410 or 027 204 2958;
Have a great rest-of-the week, and weekend;

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
