Volunteers urgently required who are available for 1 hour per week during Monday to Friday
Recently we put up a post and we received a great response and we've been successful in training about 26 people and matching them with older people in the community who need some company. Our volunteers enjoy being at the forefront of something great - by building a positive relationship with an older person you really change their life. It works for everyone involved. However, we still need some more volunteers needed:
- Tongan speaker available on Wednesdays for Mangere
- Spanish speaker in Botany Downs
- 3 volunteers for Botany Downs
- 4 volunteers for Waiuku
- 2 volunteers for Otahuhu
- 5 volunteers for Manurewa
- 8 volunteers for Mangere
- 5 volunteers for Papatoetoe

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
