Thames Toastmasters did AMAZING at last night’s Area Speech Contest. A big congratulations to all the competitors and in particular to our very own who competed and gave it their all. In fact, all three of our Thames Toastmasters competitors placed so well, they all get to go through to the Division level contest on November 21! Wowee! Here are the results from our Thames competitors:
Table Topics Contest: First place Kara-Leah Grant 🥇💐 who artfully answered the question ‘If you had your life again what would you do differently’
Humorous Speech Contest: First place Alison Choppin 🥇💐 with her fabulous speech titled ‘Bubbles’ and second place Sally Grant 💐 with her speech titled ‘Is timing everything?’
We are in awe of you and can’t wait to cheer you all on in the Division contest!

Halloween can be a fun way to connect with your community. But naturally not all homes in New Zealand will get involved.
If your house is open to trick or treaters this weekend, or if you know of some popular, local streets for trick or treating, please share these below.
