Times are changing...

Louise from Central-West Invercargill

Hi, I'm a 51yr old women living on nith St I've lived in Invercargill, bluff and a few places in southland. I was bought up in Grasmere when I was young then bluff and back to invercargill with my daughter.
I've never come across racism like I have in this area, and pple call Glengarry the hood 😳🙄. I'd rather live there any day, already have. Honestly I've lived in most parts of southland and this areas the worst. Broken windows, broken into my home and harassed by a neighbour to the point its not safe anymore... I stay inside most days and try not to let things bother me.
Anyone who has a home for rent I'd much appreciate a Msg or txt 0226549879 as I'm at my witts end and now not sleeping at all.
I'm sad invercargill has been hit by crack hard and effected so many, life's a lot different but that still doesn't mean you can't live quietly in your home your renting.. Having a moan a little lol but it's getting that bad it's effecting my depression and anxiety and I just need to move I think, sadly enuff 😔

Poll: Have you ever been bullied?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.

This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.

Have you or your whānau ever experienced bullying? Share your thoughts on Pink Shirt Day below.
