Free Firewood 8 kms NW of Hawarden. BRING OWN CHAINSAW trailer and muscle these are large trunks 1 metre wide 2, 3 and 4 metres long. Ready to burn plus some willow trunks already on the ground. I can load with FEL onto your trailer once cut into rings. Dry acess but as wood heavy 4WD recommended ( for the high clearance really) as short incline that 2 WD may have issue getting up with a 2 WD but we can tow you if necessary !!! There is also a very old willow tree ( 150 years) with many branches dead that can be cleared up too. Please e mail spcooke@amuri.net. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
