Shifting a sizeable sculpture from Garden Place to Hamilton Gardens had an almost $28,000 price tag.
The steel and aluminium structure, Te Tiaho O Matariki, is 12 metres tall. It was commissioned by Hamilton City Council in 2011, when it cost rate-payers $110,000 (excluding GST).
